A bit obsessed...

Ok, I know I am one of the millions out there who is obsessed with Twilight, but for those of you who haven't read it....READ IT! I am VERY picky when it comes to books I will actually read and continue reading. The only authors I reread are John Grisham and Anita Stansfield....now we can add Stephenie Meyer t0 that list. Anyway, I got hooked last September and have reread these 3 books more than I care to admit. For those of you fellow fans out there, just thought I would give everyone a head's up that the first chapter to Breaking Dawn is now online!!!!! Go to http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/ and they have the link for it there. YAY!! It is (of course) SOOO GREAT! I can't wait to read the entire book this August and see the movie December 12th!!

The time of our lives....

We decided to go to Fillmore for Shane's 25th birthday weekend and visit the Bailey's! It was sooo much fun!! When we got back, Shane said that that was more fun than a lot of the trips we have taken (and we have been a lot of cool places). Thanks again for having us guys!Kaden on the way down...I was feeding him bread and some other baby finger food. He did not want to chew it for some reason so he just sat there with it in his mouth like this and smiled at me the whole time. It was so funny. Eventually, he did swallow. :)
We got there Friday night and while the women stayed home and made dinner, the boys went ATVing! There were only 2 ATV's, so it's ok that we missed out this time. Here are some hieroglyphic's that have apparently been in Fillmore for ages.
Chad posing for a pic....
Awww....precious moments...haha
Kaden learned to roll Logan's toy back and forth to get it to make the popping sound. He really liked it. Look at that concentration on his face. Maybe it's time to head to the toy store....
Another toy that Kaden enjoyed. He was so happy to be sitting on it (and staying up!) all by himself. Relaxing on the hammock
Kaden loves helping out around the house and we learned this weekend that he also enjoys doing chores outside, too. Here he is pushing some mulch over to help get Kenzie's garden going. The ADORABLE Logan! He couldn't get enough of getting his picture taken.
The boys match! How cute are they! Kenzie got these shirts from Old Navy and we thought they were so stinkin' cute.
Make a wish, Shane! If I look a bit burned, it is from going shooting earlier that day. Shane and Chad went golfing after a great lunch at Cluff's, a great local burger joint. Notice that Shane was outside much longer than me and he barely got burnt. It is not fun being pasty white.

Good job hon!
This was a "special" cake. It is was happens when Kenz and I get together and cook...lol. It still tasted great! That was our fabulous weekend! Hope you enjoyed seeing it. :)

Growing pains...

Here are some fun random pics of Kaden. This is his favorite cuddle toy...Tigger! He always just lays on top of it when he gets tired from playing (and crawling!) so much. Then, we have Kaden's cousin, McKayla. She was cuddling with him and Suz and I thought it was adorable. Kaden is already a ladies man...hahaha. The last picture is Kaden's new face he has learned (probably from McKayla). He does this face EVERY time he is eating and I offer him more before he is ready for it. It is actually quite funny so I offer him more food than he wants all the time. :)

Gone fishing

A couple of weeks ago, we imposed on the Colton's family night and went fishing with them. It was so much fun, even if no one caught anything. We barbequed after and that was, of course, delicious. I don't have any pics of us fishing with Kaden....Kelly has those on her camera and I keep forgetting to remind her to email them to me. :)

Mozart and Beethoven collide

We were at my mom's house on Friday night to visit all of our relatives that were there from out of town. My mom's husband has a gorgeous baby grand piano. I had the idea that since Kaden likes pounding on things, he would like the piano....boy was I right! He LOVED it. McKayla got in on the action as well, though she enjoyed posing for the cameras more than playing the piano. Shane and I decided as soon as we get a house, we should definitely look into buying a piano for the boys in this family.

April 26, 2008-a wedding

Kaden in his outfit for his Grandpa's wedding.
The three grandkids all together. Kaden just wanted to pull McKayla's hair the whole time...probably to eat it...hahaha.
Taliyah was way too small for her huge outfit, but she is still so adorable.

April 25, 2008-First haircut

Rosie, the fabulous stylist, after giving Kaden his first haircut!
He wiggled the whole time, but Rosie handled it very well. I can't believe he was old enough for his first haircut already! How the time flies.......
