Christmas crafts and Santa's reindeer

This past Monday evening, we headed over to the Colton's house.  I'm still not 100% sure if we were invited or if we invited ourselves over...but thanks either way, Kelly, for having us!  ;)

The kiddos got to do some Christmas crafts:

Liz and a super happy Lexi painting their Popsicle nativity scenes.

Kelly is so, so crafty!  Seriously, y'all should be jealous-she's awesome.

Kaden hiding behind a finished nativity.
We also did handprint salt dough ornaments.

Liz painting her ornaments.
Kelly made us some delicious taco soup and it was a really fun family night!  Thanks again Kelly!
(And thanks for the stolen pictures!  hahaha)

A little more recently...
We went to see Santa's reindeer this morning!

Apparently a few of them hang out at Carlo's Produce in Ogden.  ;)

Predictably, Kaden was too scared to feed them, Ari was too small, but enjoyed looking at them, and Lexi wanted to ride one.  :)  My kids are awesome.

Lexi wasn't holding her hand flat around the apple, so I "helped" her feed the reindeer.

Nom, nom, nom.

This reindeer was a total pig and wouldn't let the other two eat the apples from the visitors.

Ari checking out the deer.

Kaden loved seeing the reindeer.  He told me that the one that won't stop eating is Dasher.
We're all getting really excited for Christmas!!

Yay, they really had reindeer at Carlo's Produce. I love their individual reaction and that Lexi wanted to ride one. Haha, she is going to keep you guys young. PS: You were totally invited. We had fun making holiday crafts with you.
