I took Lexi in for her 3 year well-check this past Tuesday evening. Our amazing pediatrician whom I really can't say enough good things about proved, once again, why I love her so much. One of her questions to me was about how the breathing treatments went for Lexi a month or so ago. I was like, "Huh? I've never done a breathing treatment on Lexi--just Ari." The doctor very nicely reminded me about the last appointment where I had, in fact, done a breathing treatment on Lexi and the doctor had said to keep doing them for 3 days after that. Then I remembered. "Oh yeah!"
So, yup. When your pediatrician remembers details that you forget, they're a keeper! :)
Anyway, for those of you who didn't read it on Facebook, here are her stats:
Weight: 30 lbs (25%) (Yay! We're up to 25% for her!!)
Height: 36.5 inches (50%--it's about FREAKIN' time she grows!)
I may or may not have given her a few couple of full sippy cups of juice and water RIGHT before we went in to the doctor to make sure she weighed more than her last appt (she was 28 lbs last time). Thank you Biggest Loser for teaching me how to throw a weigh-in! Woo!
Doc said that Lexi is looking great and is developmentally exactly where she should be. She's such a cute little girl and is slowly getting over the mischievous phase (right as Ari is going into it). The doctor's first name is Vicki, but Lexi sometimes struggles with the letter "V", so she started saying "Doctor Icky." I panicked and told her to think of another name for the doctor before she came in, so the moment doc opens the door, Lexi exclaims, "Hi Grandma!"
(In all fairness, the doctor IS a grandma and has some gray hairs. She didn't mind being called that at all and thought Lexi was just adorable. WHEW!)
Today Lexi has been talking about "Doctor Cookie," but now I think she's just messing with me. :) I love my sweet girl!
