The rest of May

Second post today!  I'm finally finishing up May!  WOO!

May 29th was Steph's 30th birthday!
She wanted to have a girl's night out with me and her cousin, Ashlee. (I've known Ashlee for about four years, so it was going to be a fun night since we were all more than comfortable with each other.)  We went to Franck's (the best restaurant EVER!) and it was just as amazing as always.

I bought Steph some 30th paraphernalia and made her wear it.  ;)
Our server was HILARIOUS!  He took the group pic for us and said that he had that same sash at home (it says, "Another year of FABULOUS!" and then he saw her crown and said he had that, too.  hahahaha  He was awesome.
Me, Steph, and Ash

For the first time in my life, I wasn't the whitest one!  Ash had me beat!

I made Steph wear her crown all night.  We went shopping and then went to Ash's apartment so she could model her wedding dress for us.  :)  More on that later...

On Wednesday, May 30th, Lexi had a tooth pulled.  One of her back molars.  She was crazy funny coming out of the anesthesia and the nurse was laughing saying that she's never seen a kid come out of anesthesia SO happy.  Lexi's mouth was all bloody and she kept looking up at me through drug-enhanced eyes and slurring, "I wuv you so much."  Over and over and over.  It was hilarious.  (Hilarious, but also kinda nasty because she hadn't had anything to eat that day, so the smell of morning breath mixed with blood made me want to puke just a little...) The next night, May 31st, the tooth fairy came!

Lexi with the tooth in the fancy case from the dentist.  It's kind of hard to see here, but it's under her pillow.

What kind of sorcery is this?

MONEY!!
For the record, she spent her money on a necklace/bracelet/earring set from the dollar store.  That broke on the way home.  Awesome.

JUNE!!  So, June 1st was Danny and Steph's last day in Utah for who knows how long, so everyone came to a big farewell family (plus us) dinner for them at ABC Mandarin in Roy.

After dinner, we headed over to their home in Clinton for a game of Rook.  Lexi wasted no time in having someone else do all the work on the scooter for her:

Danny's a good sport.  :)
TA-DA!  Done with May and started into June!  YAY!

Looks like Steph had an awesome birthday! It's a little scary that your waiter had the same sash and crown though. :)
