On July 2nd, we were invited to go swimming - not just once but twice that day! We went over to our friend's house, Kim - she lives a block away, and played in their little sandbox-turned-swimming-pool in the morning and then in the evening we went with Kim and her family to the Roy Aquatic Center.

It was Kim's parents' stake day at the Aquatic Center, so we got in free!

After about 30 minutes of begging, pleading, threatening, bribing, convincing, Shane finally got Kaden to go semi-willingly down the big (slow) slide. They got all the way to the top and were next in line, when suddenly the workers said, "We're closed" and made EVERYONE walk back down the stairs. I was SO mad! It would have been so, so good for Kaden to experience the slide and realize he would live through it, yet the stupid workers were "done" so he couldn't go. SO, SO LAME.
Anyway.
Later tonight I'll tackle July 4th!

Oh that would have been so good for Kaden. Maybe next time. I can't believe they didn't just close off the line at the bottom of the slide and finish letting everyone else go down. LAME
